The Economic Vitality Element was included as part of Issaquah’s first GMA consistent Comprehensive Plan, adopted in April, 1995. The State did not require an economic element at that time, however Issaquah felt strongly that economic vitality was a large piece of the community’s quality of life. This element’s most recent update was 2007. An Economic Development Element is now required by GMA.
