In 2022, the State of Washington settled large scale litigation against various entities within the pharmaceutical supply chain who manuf acture, distribute, and dispense prescription opioids (the "Opioid Litigation Claims"). $215 million of the overall $518 million settlement was earmarked f or eligible Washington cities and counties that opted to join in settlement of the Opioid Litigation Claim
