LODGING TAX ADVISORY Staff Liaison COMMITTEE Benton Coblentz, Economic Development Coordinator About Email Benton Coblentz Established in 1998, this committee oversees the City's share of lodging tax. 2022 Members Currently, hotels, motels, and bed-and- breakfast inns collect the City's 1 percent Frank Stilwagner, share of the tax to pay all or any part of the Village Theatre cost of tourism promotion, acquisition of tourism-related facilities or the operation of Kathy McCorry, tourism-related facilities. Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce Membership Under state law, the committee's members Matthew McReynolds, consist of members from businesses that SpringHill Suites Marriott collect the tax, members involved in activities eligible for lodging tax revenue, John Parizek, and an elected City official, who leads the Hilton Garden Inn committee.
